Happy news for Samsung Galaxy S2 users. Now I am coming with CyanogenMod Lollipop Rom for Samsung Galaxy S2. This is an update for Galaxy S2 via unofficial android version CyangenMod 12.1 Lollipop Rom. Please note that the trick will work and I have tested once, but we will not take care about your device if is it's brick. Do at your own risk.
Requirements for installing CyanogenMod in Galaxy S2
>> Your Galaxy S2 must be charged at least 80%.
>> Your device must be fully perfect with it's hardware.
>> You should back up your device's data and settings, backup also your phone's Stock Rom if you can.
>> If you are using old version of Windows please download and install USB Drivers for Galaxy S2.
How to install CyanogenMod Lollipop in Galaxy S2
1. Download CyanogenMod Lollipop Rom to your PC or Galaxy S2.
2. Download GoogleAPPS to your PC or Galaxy S2.
3. Download Custom Recovery Mod.
3. Move downloaded files to your device's SD-card's root directory.
4. Switch off your galaxy S2, and remove battery for 2 or 3 minutes.
5. Reinsert battery and boot your S2 into recovery mod.
>>Press and hold Volume increase button, Power button and Home button simulantly to boot your galaxy S2 into recovery mode.
6. Now navigate to apply update from SD card and select.
>> You can use volume+ button and volume- buttons to navigate and power button to select one.
7. And custom recovery mod for galaxy S2 and install it. You will be now opened to custom recovery mod as shown below.
8. From the opened menu select wipe data/factory reset.
9. After that do select wipe cache partition.
10. Now we are going to install CyanogenMod Lollipop on Galaxy S2.
>>Navigate to install zip from card and select the downloaded CyanogenMod Lollipop for Galaxy S2.
>>After completing the installation navigate to install zip from SDcard option and install the downloaded GAPPS for Galaxy S2 (This is optional, only do if you need google apps like Play store and Gmail.)
11. Now you are done installing Cyanogenmod Lollipop in Samsung Galaxy S2, Please select Reboot System Now option.
12. Waite until reboot your device, it can be take about 10 minutes.
13. Congratulations.... Now you are successfully installed Lollipop in Samsung Galaxy S2 .
